Seribu Islands will Undergo Urine Test

Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo asked National Narcotics Agency to conduct urine test for whole employees and civil servants in the regency rank.

We want BNN to do routine urine test towards employees, students or residents here, especially civil servants

He told that civil servants should be a good role model and avoid using even distributing drugs.

It is regarding the arrested of SI (28), a staff of South Seribu Islands Sub-District who was caught bringing methamphetamine.

"We want BNN to do routine urine test towards employees, students or residents here, especially civil servants," he asked, Monday (12/7).

He added, as an island which is intensively campaigning the tour sites to be world's tour destination, Seribu Islands become the target of drug dealer to distribute their goods.

"Since earlier, it's been predicted, so we coordinate with police to tighten the distribution tracks through ports," he added.

Previously, SI was arrested by police while bringing a small package of methamphetamine on the port road, Tidung Island. After being traced, another package was found on his house door plus the sucking tool.

Now the suspect is secured in Kalibaru Resort Police, Cilincing, North Jakarta, for further law process.
